Richard Nunns called this group his ‘dream-team’, a small ensemble of collaborators who share an intuitive musical and cultural instinct that finds effortless expression in the colours and textures of the sonic world they create.

Formed in 2010, Nga Tae was quick to attract significant national and international recognition for their unique brand of deeply resonant music. Having worked together in various settings over the years, this is the first time they have collaborated as a group – and the combination is magical. With support from Creative New Zealand, the group debuted at the Australasian World Music Expo in Melbourne (November 2010), which resulted in an immediate invitation to attend Bluesfest Australia the following year.
